Heart Healthy Recipe: Tandoori Chicken Wings w/ Cilantro Dipping Yogurt

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. chicken wings
1 1/2 cups low fat greek yogurt
4 tbsp. minced cilantro
2 limes
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon tumeric powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
3 minced garlic cloves
Directions:
1. Juice one lime
2. Combine lime juice, canola oil, ginger, cumin, red pepper flakes, tumeric powder, paprika, garlic & salt in a large bowl
3. Add chicken wings to bowl & toss until coated with mixture
4. Cover & place in refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours, tossing occasionally
5. While chicken marinates, mix greek yogurt & cilantro. Cover & store in refrigerator.
6. Once chicken is marinated, preheat broiler to high
7. Place marinated chicken in a medium non-stick roasting pan . Sprinkle with salt
8. Broil for 7 minutes. Flip. Broil for another 7 minutes until cooked through
9. Serve with yogurt sauce & lime wedge
