And though holiday food pairings typically include alcoholic beverages, you may find yourself hosting guests this year who are expecting, under twenty-one or have made the lifestyle decision to not drink. So if you are planning a holiday party, consider this delicious, healthy & non-alcoholic alternative when serving your guests!
In a small saucepan, heat 1 c of water and 1 c of sugar on medium for five minutes. Immediately after sugar dissolives (before boilng) add 3 sprigs of rosemary and let steep for one hour. Chill.
Add 1/2 c fresh pink grapefruit juice into a cocktail shaker. Add 1 tablespoon of the chilled rosemary syrup. Shake.
Fill remainder of shaker with 1 c sparkling water and pour into martini glass. Garnish with rosemary sprig & grapefruit wedge.
